About Pennonia Inks:

All Pennonia inks are created by hand using high quality ingredients, precise measurements and a pinch of passion for writing and inks in order to bring you, vivid, beautiful colors to write with. They are designed to work flawlessly with your favorite writing instruments, offering a smooth, pleasant writing experience. Pennonia inks can also be customized with different color shimmer powders based on your preference. Each bottle is hand labelled using Clairfontaine Clairmail 60 g/m2 white paper and the bottles themselves are pharmaceutical grade amber glass bottles to protect the inks from UV light.The wide mouth of the bottle (4 cm) is excellent for filling any kind of fountain pens and reduces the changes of accidentally tipping them over when filling. All inks carefully packed into, simple yet beautiful boxes to keep them safe during transport right until they reach your shelves.

About the color:

Pennonia Gyermekláncfű (Dandelion)

Many Pennonia inks are named after past experiences, moments and events from our childhood. In the case of Dandelion the ink brought back memories of me and my cousins playing on the village fields collecting dandelions in order to make “jewelry” for ourselves. The Hungarian name for the plant is quite descriptive as it literally translates to “Children’s chain grass”.

The stem of the dandelion is hollow so if you want, you can chain them together to create necklaces, earrings or other decorations. If you are skilled, like my cousin, dandelion can also be used to make beautiful crowns too!

To top it all off, it’s also really fun to blow of the seeds after the flowers have bloomed!

 

Regarding shimmer powders: If you decide to add shimmer powder to your ink order please note that these inks may clog your pen or make it hard to clean. Only use shimmering inks if you are willing to accept the downsides that come with it. We recommend using dip pens or fountain pens that are easy to disassemble and clean thoroughly.
